This was a walking tour through the midtown area, including the Chrysler Building, Grand Central Station, Times Square, Rockefeller Center -- all with a very capable guide who included both historically accurate as well as "fun facts" to educate and entertain along the way. CityRover Tours are the best!

As a native born New Yorker, I thought I would take a walking tour to places I passed many times but never really stopped to explore what's before my very eyes. To my surprise, I discovered things I never noticed before. Look down, bronze plaques...continued
Some of the stops on this exciting, informative, and visually impressive walking tour include:
- Grand Central Terminal
- Chrysler Building
- New York Public Library and Bryant Park
- Times Square
- Rockefeller Center
- Fifth Avenue
Stops: There will be one restroom break during our walk, as well as an included (and tasty) treat.
Distance and duration: This walk covers about 2 miles on foot in about 3 hours. We proceed at a moderate pace on flat terrain.
More about the tour: Behind the rapid movement lies a section of Manhattan that is a product of famous rivalries, huge risk-taking, and constant change. Get to know a critical part of the city that many of its daily commuters take for granted. We will explore the stories behind some of the most famous sites and landmarks, from Grand Central Terminal and the Chrysler Building to Times Square and Rockefeller Center. We will also talk about many things in between, including Manhattan’s famous grid and some of its most iconic skyscrapers.
Guide gratuities are not included in the tour price, so if you enjoy your tour, tips are very much appreciated. Finally, please dress for the weather, as the tour takes place rain or shine.
