It wasn't the celebrity laden event it was billed to be. The performances were great or as expected. The cavernous venue swallowed the crowd,so it's hard to say whether this event was underpromoted or booked in the wrong place. But fun was had by all.

I did enjoy the event. Mostly because I love Kid Cudi and as soon and I got there he was performing. But afterwards, there wasnt really much to do. When I arrived, everyone was just standing around talking. There was people playing The Beatles Rock Band, but other than that there wasnt really much to do except get a $3 drink or talk in a circle or stare aimlessly at the ceiling. Good event, but next time, they should give the guest more of a variety of things to experience. Just saying.

Those working at the venue were completely disorganized. We arrived early for a good spot. Those who arrived after us were together to move beside us on the sidewalk to avoid standing on the street where construction was being done, therefore, they got in before us. Will Call did not open until the doors open so no one could pick up their tickets. But the show was great! I wish it had lasted more than 2 hours though.

The event was great. I was shocked by how empty the venue was for the show. Both performances were great. I've never heard Kid Cudi before, but he did a great job at keeping me engaged throughout his set. I'm sure that he will be big on the Indie circuit very soon. Phoenix performed exactly as I expected them to, very well. My only complaint was that they played for only 45 minutes or so. I would have liked for the show to start earlier so that Phoenix could have a longer set. Overall...one of the better concerts I've seen this summer...and I've been to 13!!
