Worth seeing at Goldstar price, some very interesting and humorous exhibits. Some parts could be a little better curated but for the most part well selected and presented. Tastefully done and comfortable environment to learn some facts about a sometimes discomforting subject. The place was overheated, even for winter. Gift shop very pricey.Written on Jan 02 2012

We went for Valentines day and it was fun but croweded. I don't know if its always like that or if it was because it was a holiday but the crowd made it hard to really see all the exhibits. I totally recommend going if you're interested in sexual history. I learned a lot of interesting things.Written on Mar 23 2011

I thought it was ok....the most interesting part for me was the animals and their sexual activities, I found that interesting and I was glad it was right at the beginning....after that, it was just OK for me. The mission of the Museum of Sex is to preserve and present the history, evolution and cultural significance of human sexuality. With each new exhibition, the Museum of Sex is committed to addressing a wide range of topics, while simultaneously highlighting material and artifacts from different cultures, time periods and media. In a short time, the Museum has received attention from academic institutions, media outlets, and celebrities such as Howard Stern, Jay Leno and Chris Rock - positioning the Museum of Sex within the realm of academia and pop culture alike. In addition to changing exhibitions, the museum offers visitors a sampling from over 15,000 objects that form the museum’s permanent collection. The museum is for mature audiences only. Photography is permitted.
The museum's Oralfix Cafe, open during museum hours, serves coffee, light food and aphrodisac drinks. Visitors can buy unique gifts at the museum's Mosex Store.
