Get inspired at this evening of music celebrating life and freedom, including the New York premiere of Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living, a lush work for full orchestra and choir. This moving piece is an uplifting and inspiring perspective on life, love, loss, and renewal. Moving from the personal to the political, the evening will also feature the patriotic The Testament of Freedom by Randall Thompson and The Gettysburg Address by Mark Hayes. The Testament of Freedom was written for the bicentennial of Thomas Jefferson's birth with text taken from his writings. Written during World War II, it became popular as an uplifting message about the United States during wartime. The Gettysburg Address takes the immortal speech of Abraham Lincoln and sets it to a dramatic orchestral score. Learn More

The sound quality is not good at this venue. It's a very small location and fun and intimate setting but the overall sound was disappointing.
The performers are good but not as good as similar Dueling Pianos shows I've seen previously.
A couple of major disappointments: Until you purchase the tickets you don't know that there is a two drink minimum per person. And the venue does not accept credit cards. The drinks were terrible. Third rate wine--$10 per glass which was only half filled.
Finally, if the performers are going to accept payment to play/sing a song, they should do it. I was disappointed that they didn't do the song I requested and paid for.
You've seen them in Vegas at the famous "New York, New York" or throughout the country while on vacation. The craze has finally returned to the Big Apple, once again making Dueling Pianos New York City's most talked about party spot. Our A-list talent will have you dancing, laughing and singing along to your favorite rock 'n' roll hits of all time. You control the show! Every night is unique as guests request their favorite songs like "Great Balls Of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis, "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel and "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi.
NYC Dueling Pianos is the place to be, whether you are a party of two or 20 celebrating a birthday, anniversary or bachelorette party. The crowd includes both tourists and New Yorkers alike, so you're sure to walk away with new friends, great stories and blurred memories! Come join the fun!
