Comedian Danny Leary’s hit variety show is back and stirring things up with his signature cocktail that’s two parts stand-up, a twist of musical comedy and a splash of cabaret served up “On the Rocks!” Jazz pianist Jessica Stewart is on the piano.
The show is a must for lovers of the variety shows of yester-year. Leary brings back the classic variety format and adds a modern edge.
This season will feature an original opening theme song written especially for the series by the award-winning team of composer Alan Cancelino and lyricist Hector Coris.

About The Duplex:
The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is a 70-seat off-Broadway venue that features performances of all types nightly.
Since their humble beginnings in the 1950s, under the auspices of Hal Holbrook, the Duplex's first booking manager, DCT has served as a jewel in the crown of the NYC cabaret world. Performers such as Barbra Steisand, Woody Allen, Joanne Worley, Lovelady Powell, KT Sullivan, Karen Mason and Lea Delaria all are Duplex alumns. DCT audiences have been lucky enough to catch premiere versions of hits like Nunsense; Hello Muddah! Hello Faddah!; and a slew of other new shows.
More recently, DCT has been the venue of choice for The Storefront Theatre's award-winning New Mondays series, featuring new work from composers both up-and-coming and legendary, from Frank Wildhorn to Stephen Schwartz, Charles Strouse to Galt MacDermot, Jason Robert Brown, Michael John LaChiusa, Andrew Lippa and many others.
