Oy! is a collection of eight 10-minute comedies, each illustrating the meaning of a Yiddish word -- with story lines including the untold stories of Eve and Adam, Einstein's demanding mother, the divorce trial of God and the human, the use of unkosher food as an aphrodisiac, and three men in a sauna who communicate using only the word "oy." Appealing to audiences of all faiths and all backgrounds, Oy! is a tribute to the absurdity and comedy of the condition universal to everyone: that of being human.

The script for the skits was amazingly amateurish - and given this the acting was a cut or sometimes two cuts above amateur.Written on May 14 2012
BTW the Oy piece was particularly bad and did not come off at all.
Any more than the $10.00 per ticket would have been way too much money however.
The venue was not nearly as bad as reported and the elevator may very well have been serviced.
No problems here.

Oy!... and not in a good way. There were only a few funny moments. Theater was hard to get to (5th floor of an old building). Elevators were soooo slow that we were afraid to get in them so we walked up. Air conditioning in the theater so loud it was hard to hear some actors who didn't project well.Written on May 08 2012
