I particularly loved the Requiem by Composer Rene Clausen. A beautiful work that evoked in me images of the vast American prairie. It was a beautiful concert with hundreds of exquisite singers.Written on Mar 19 2012

My girlfriend and I liked the idea of hearing two
Requiems, the Mozart version which is more baroque,
and the Clausen work which was more like a New Age
version. The choruses that were represented (at least 10 from universities and high schools) had wonderful voices and a very professional. presentation. The soloists rounded out the program
with their own special magic. The audience could tell that these singers definitely enjoyed themselves as their facial expressions were very serene. One could not help but cry during this concert as emotions were brought to the surface. We definitely plan to see more programs from Distinguished Concerts International New York. In fact of all the classical concerts I've seen and heard over the years, this one was probably the best. The music will stay with me forever.
