Olympics Über Alles tells the story of the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, when Jewish-American runners Marty Glickman and Sam Stoller became victims of hate-mongering. As Jesse Owens made the news, Marty and Sam, on the same U.S. track team, seemingly went unnoticed, while American and Nazi officials apparently conspired to bar them from the race of their lives. Why were these two young men denied the opportunity to compete? Olympics Über Alles follows a Jewish professor and a Catholic museum curator who hope to answer that question, amid some murky Olympic history and the meaning of their own relationship. In this evocative new play, politics, religion, sports, relationships and the roots of World War II come face-to-face in a theatrical whirlwind that will challenge and inspire. Learn More

a Carol Channing impersonator who did a credible job and was very connected to the audience. Richard was pleasant, talented and professional.
Very small audience which makes it awkward. The venue of St. Luke's theater is a "basement theater". We enjoyed, although it is not a sophisticated event.

“The first time ever I have been shown with such love, respect and polish! Richard Skipper is a true musical theater star! He is fabulous as me!” —_Carol Channing
“An unqualified musical comedy gem.” —Backstage _
Accompanied by a three-piece band, Richard Skipper blends Carol Channing’s standards with original material and other familiar songs sung in spot-on, Channing-on-Broadway perfection. The musical surveys Channing’s life with many stops along the way for Skipper’s unique - and riotous- ‘ad-lib’ interactions with the audience. Richard Skipper is a four-time recipient of the MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabaret) Award and a Back Stage Bistro Award for Best Performer. He was named one of the Top Ten Cabaret Performers by Cabaret Hotline and one of the Top of the Century Premiere Cabaret Acts by _Cabaret Scenes _Magazine.
