On a Friday night in 1995, six high school freshmen gather in a basement to trade gossip, play games and -- just maybe -- find romance. Will Margot's mysterious boyfriend show up? Will Derek ever hook up with Ballard? Will Hunter ever notice Phoebe? And who will score those magical (or horrible, with the wrong person) Seven Minutes in Heaven? Hailed by The New York Times as "so real that you almost believe it was written by one of its characters," Steven Levenson's hilarious and heartbreaking play perfectly captures those awkward teenaged years in which every moment is fraught with emotional peril and reputations can be made or ruined with a broken promise, a stolen kiss or a casually cutting remark.

Superbly acted, well scripted comedy. At times hilarious play about the angst of young teen relationships. The dialogue hit home across generations of the audience in this intimate theater setting. The cast was convincing in making us feel like flies on the wall. They made it easy to immerse oneself in the banter without sounding as if they were reciting a script.
