Grammy-winning video game composer Christopher Tin comes to Carnegie Hall for The Drop of Dawn, a concert presented by DCINY spotlighting a pair of his orchestral suites, including a world premiere. Artistic director and principal conductor Jonathan Griffith leads the Distinguished Concerts Orchestra and Singers International in the debut of The Drop That Contained the Sea, a stirring new world-music piece accompanied by 200 voices. The performance also includes the Carnegie Hall premiere of Calling All Dawns, featuring "Baba Yetu," the theme song for Civilization IV. That work became the first ever written for a video game to win a Grammy. Learn More
