POGO Events' The Amazing New York Race is a fast-paced, team event that is part scavenger hunt and part obstacle course. Like CBS' hit television show The Amazing Race, a series of clues will lead you to landmarks around New York. Along the way, you will perform physical and mental challenges in a race to the finish line. Obstacles on the route will include finding hidden places around the city to complete tasks, snapping photos of designated people or objects, puzzle detours and roadblocks where one person on the team must execute a challenge to move on. At the end of the race, each member of the winning team will receive a New York City gift package.

Went with my 70+ year old parents. We had a great time. We ended up being the slowest team, but my parents (from upstate) loved the challenges and running around the city. The weather was fantastic and everyone was so friendly.

So much fun (even with the rain!). We met a bar and from there, we were given our scavenger hunt list. All or so teams tore out of the bar on the mad hunt for our items (i.e A picture depicting each of the 12 days of Christmas, a picture of your team in front of the Moschino store, 8 deposit slips from 10 different banks, etc). We were soaked to the bone by the end of the day, but had such a great time! Cannot wait to do one in the summer!

We chased around the city trying to find a list of things to take a picture of with us in the picture. It was an absolute BLAST!!! The stories behind the pictures are better than the pictures themselves. The people in the city were great and most were willing to help out with the picture taking. My friends and I plan to do this event agian.

This race was such a blast!! We were running around like crazy all over the city taking pictures with strangers, going to different locations doing funny stunts. It was hilarious! I'm born and raised in NY and never experienced the city this way. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a great time. Who said us New Yorkers are rude? Everyone we asked to take pictures with were such good sports and New York's Finest (Cops) were so helpful in letting us know where some of the clues were located. Everyone got a kick out of it! We're doing this again for sure!
