The Duplex, New York City's world-famous cabaret and piano bar, is located in the heart of West Greenwich Village in Manhattan.
The ever-popular Duplex boasts a piano bar with open mic every night of the week, an upstairs bar and an intimate off-Broadway cabaret theatre, all hosted by some of New York's friendliest staff.
Fountainhead Productions is proud to present an evening with Composer/lyricist Will Van Dyke featuring selections from his many original musicals, as well as standalone numbers at the Duplex. The evening will explore the trials and triumphs of childhood versus the love and loneliness of adulthood. Most recently, Will played keyboards for the 1st National Tour of “Wicked.” Will was the Assistant Musical Director on Andrew Lippa’s “A Little Princess” in the National Alliance of Musical Theatres festival in New York. He also assisted Mr. Lippa for “Kristen Chenoweth Live at Disney Hall” in Los Angeles. Will’s original musical “Pages” was presented at Cap 21 this past June.
The evening features additional lyrics by Randy Blair and Josh Halloway, and the vocal talents of Katie Gassert, Michael Hunsaker, Josh Lamon, Carrie Manolakos (from Broadway’s Mama Mia), Victoria Matlock, and Danny Schmittler. Directed by Lisa Moss.
