Experience a night of exciting, experimental and environmentally sound modern dance, as acclaimed Philadelphia choreographer and MOMIX veteran Brian Sanders brings his troupe, JUNK, to New York. The company, which critics have called "Philly's most imaginative perpetrator of daredevilish physical theater," incorporates found objects into highly acrobatic and hilariously inventive programs like Patio Plastico Plus, a series of seven prop-based pieces featuring breathtaking aerial dance, a satirical pas de deux, a tin can ballet and the title work. That dance, which debuted at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, takes a patch of AstroTurf, a suite of plastic lawn furniture and some lounge music and turns it into a display of bubbly, Fellini-like glamour.
