I go to a lot of hockey games at the Prudential Center, and I have to say it's a great venue for hockey! there really are no "bad" seats in the whole place, and of course Goldstar rocked it out with some really amazing seats for a pretty decent discounted price. We would never have been able to afford these same seats on a casual basis so it was a really great treat for the price of what we usually pay (full price) up in the upper level.

It was a pre-season game, so there were a lot of rookies and younger players trying out for the team, but some of our favorite star players were there too! My boyfriend and I are Devil's fans and our home team won this game so it was a great night overall.

For anyone who hasn't been there, the Prudential Center has a lot of food options and some of them are actually reasonably priced (for arena food). There is a bar/lounge as well, a good range of fan gear (overpriced of course) at the team store, and a usually overcrowded smoking balcony for those of you who want to pop out for a quick cigarette.

For anyone who doesn't watch a lot of hockey, the game has two intermissions that give you more than enough time to go to the bathroom or get a snack or drink without missing any important action, but if you go to a regular season game they often have cool stuff happen on the ice (contests, performances, and the best is the really young kids playing hockey called Mites on Ice... it's adorable!) during the intermission so it's not boring if you stay in your seat.

As a side note, the Prudential Center is very easy to get to via mass transit (PATH train to Newark, 5 minute walk), and the actual facility including the bathrooms is very clean and well kept up with. Hockey is a family friendly sport and you will see a LOT of kids there.

Whether you are a devoted fan (like us) or someone who has never been to a game before, I highly recommend snapping up any future tickets to see the NJ Devils play at home!!

For Devils/Flyers I always bring along my flyers fan friend. These seats did not disappoint at all. 17 rows from the ice and slightly to the right of the net. This was my first time at the Prudential Center and was very impressed with the stadium. Seating was excellent with no bad views from what I can tell. The concession stands were very easy to get to and provided plenty of options.

Lastly the price was more than half off the face value of the ticket. I know it's only a pre-season game, but it's still a great value.
