This live stage show mash-up is based on Shakespeare's The Tempest and the 1950s science fiction film Forbidden Planet (which itself drew its plot loosely from The Tempest). The play features a campy sci-fi setting and a soundtrack full of memorable rock 'n' roll hits of the '50s and '60s from the Animals, the Byrds, the Beach Boys and more. Join Repertory East Playhouse on a spaceship ride to a mysterious hidden planet inhabited by Prospero, Caliban the lovely Miranda and more like you've never experienced them before. Learn More
