The Falcon Theatre's popular radio play version of It's a Wonderful Life returns for a fourth season. Based on a story that appeared in Good Housekeeping and later adapted into a beloved movie directed by Frank Capra, It's a Wonderful Life finds the idealistic and suicidal George Bailey having his life transformed when he meets an angel on Christmas Eve. In this radio play version, actors play multiple roles while a Foley artist creates sound effects such as creaking doors and the clopping of horse hooves. The production is directed by Ted Weil and features Stuart McNiell and Jenny Kessle.

We have been to this particular play a couple of times before. It's becoming a tradition for us to go at Christmas. This was the best production we've seen. Falcon Theater always put on an excellent show. We seldom miss one of their plays.

I brought my mom and mother in law to this show. we all really enjoyed it! The actors were great and the venue was so small and quaint. Definitely a must see!

Founded in 1989 by Dave Radtke and Ted Weil, Falcon continues to be faithful to its mission of bringing powerful theater to the Greater Cincinnati area. Since their first show, "Beyond Therapy," they have brought high caliber theatrical productions to local audiences. This level of quality is the hallmark of the Greater Cincinnati theater scene.

Falcon first took the stage in the Westwood Town Hall, an historic building that is run by the City of Cincinnati as a recreation and arts center. After 14 years in that venue, they reloctated to the Monmouth Theater right across the river in Newport, Kentucky. They are currently involved in the on-going transformation of this space...turning it into a vibrant home within walking distance of the Newport on the Levee entertainment district.
