Beethoven, Dvorak and Mozart From the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Boston
Enjoy an intimate performance from some of Boston's best virtuosos. Part of Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Boston's Salon Series, this performance will feature the music of Beethoven, Dvorak and Mozart in a comfortable, friendly surrounding. Beethoven "Eyeglasses" is a playful duo for viola and cello while Dvorak's Terzetto is a darker piece for two violins and a viola. Mozart's String Quintet No. 4 rounds out the program with intense melancholy. The event also includes a lively, roundtable discussion about the music and artistry behind it. The innovative, musician-run Pro Arte was founded in 1978, and is New England's only professional cooperative chamber orchestra.
