Strathmore is a nightmore of steps to a four-level concert hall, "served" by apparently only one elevator. If you need an elevator, add at least 15 minutes to your arrival and departure times.
Whether because of the conductor, the singers, or the hall, the Beethoven might just as well eliminated the soloists, who drowned in a progressively muddy torrent.

The 9th was beyond words wonderful! I rarely enjoyed this concert as much as i did this one! I know the piece very well - so to be so well surprised was an added bonus! the tempo was perfect, the choir was clear and the venue is a great one for the Beethoven 9th. I could not fall asleep, and just kept hearing the clear-as-a-bell pauses, tensions, cadenzas, and then - all together a perfect performance. Well done, National Philharmonic!

This was our first visit to Strathmore and we are wishing we had gone sooner! The seats were in row F center orchestra! Brilliant! Goldstar has provided an incredible value which we will continue to use!

The National Philharmonic did a fabulous job again on Beethoven's Ninth, with which they opened the new Strathmore Hall a few years ago. It's a piece that they know well (Conductor Piotr Gajewski led the entire symphony without using a score) and delivered with great execution, making for an enjoyable evening!

Phenomenal. I can't wait to go to another performance at Strathmore. I love the reduced ticket prices, it allows me to go when I can't afford the full price.
