I thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially considering it was Pride Week. And this still goes on! Again, thanks for the privilege of viewing this performance!Written on Jun 11 2007

This play is excellent. The cast is terrific and they look like real military people. I did not see this play the first time it played a few years back, but this version is great. Go see it.Written on Jun 20 2007

Description
In Box 27, Stephen, a young Marine just days away from a promotion, wants to live his life with “honor, respect and duty,” even if it means "coming out," and in doing so, potentially outing his closeted lover, Major Howard Kurtis. Complicating matters, Major Kurtis is a lifelong friend of Stephen’s father, the prejudiced, old-school Colonel Mills. At stake for Stephen and Howard are their military careers and the wrath of the Colonel -- and, at the heart of the matter, the future of their loving relationship.
The play is as relevant and thought-provoking as it was more than eleven years ago, when it had its West Coast premiere at Actors Forum Theatre. It examines how choosing honor and truth in the face of prejudice can take a heavy toll.
