Urban Death is a series of short vignettes in Grand Guignol style illustrating macabre images of horror meant to disturb, discomfit, thrill, shock and sometimes make you laugh at the absurdity. This show is not for the faint-of-heart, but is fantastic entertainment for daring adventurers ready to delve into an avant-garde world of theatrically-twisted nightmares, insanity and deviation. From the lighting -- and then the deep, dark lack of it -- to the spooky score, effects and costumes, Urban Death plunges you into its terrifying, alternative vision. Learn More

Written on Aug 16 2012The small production in an intimate setting was well done. The actors knew their parts well and were very engaging. The rendition was a nice way to spend an evening
Written on Aug 13 2012Decent enough production - but VERY misleading -- thought I was purchasing tickets for the OTHER version they appeared to be producing simultaneously -- a one-hour "zombie" version of the play...!
Written on Aug 13 2012For a low budget production, this was simply outstanding. The acting was superb and the ghost sequences were genuinely the scariest I have ever seen in any version of Hamlet. A must see!
Written on Jul 30 2012A fast moving, emotional, skillfully presented production. This is what small theatr is all about. A great introduction to the play but also good for those who have seen it frequently since the themes and characters are developed nicely. The staging is minimal but the sound and light make up for it.
In any event, you're there for the greatest writing and poetry in history and the cast respects it and honors it.
