After the Fall: Rarely Produced Classic by Arthur Miller from HumanArts Theater Company
- Full Price:
- $25.00
- Our Price:
- $12.50
Based on the playwright's life and considered one of Arthur Miller's most personal plays, After The Fall follows a man on his quest to make peace with his own history and with the tumultuous world around him. This experimental portrait of a man struggling with the choices he has made in his public and private life examines the personal, political and universal forces that collide when we "fall" from innocence. Following the death of his second wife, Quentin tries to move forward, but he must also relive childhood losses, failed marriages and the effects of the 1950s' Blacklist. This rarely produced classic is presented by the HumanArts Theater Company. Learn More

Simply amazing. More than the music, the life of Lennon was captured for all the good and bad times. I truly hope this tribute will be back. Worth every penny.Written on Dec 29 2009

An intimate and wonderful experience as Tim and the Band told the life story of the "misunderstood Beatle". I came away more informed, entertained, and more enlightened then before I embarked on this adventure. Well, well worth it if you get a chance.Written on Dec 16 2009

Bad wig but a great show. The writer(s) deserves kudos for writing a good piece in which the telling of the events in John Lennon's life are interspersed with the music and lyrics he wrote. The night I went it seemed to take the audience a bit of time to warm to the character. Perhaps that was because some had difficulty seeing Lennon in an actor's hands. But the audience did get into a groove and sang along with the tunes when prompted. The show was sold out when I went, so I urge you to buy a ticket before it leaves (whenever that will be). This is a very entertaining reflection on a man who wasn't perfect but yet was still someone we admired, for both his on-and-off stage actions. Great work guys!Written on Dec 30 2009
