Taking its title from a famous piece of music considered by many to be among the most beautiful ever written, The Flower Duet finds the lives of two couples spiraling out of control in the wake of a careless act of infidelity. Much drama (and yet no lack of laughs) unfolds as this story spans 20 years of love, friendship, betrayal and heartbreak in its study of the complicated dynamics of marriage. Directed by Jeffrey Wienckowski and written by prolific playwright Maura Campbell, The Road Theatre Company is proud to present the world premiere of Flower Duet. Learn More

Despite L.A. Times review ripping this show, it proved to address so many issues so very well, from sacrifices, to economic disparities, to love ... Laurie O'Brien, the lead, moved me in her portrayal of Anne, giving the role so much depth and nuances. The reviewer for the Times had something wrong with him the night he saw this play.
