This performance was quite good. The actors were wonderful. The set was simple so it did not distract from the story.

The Porters have done it again. Against their sparse and Spartan set, this flawless cast tells the story unforgettably, thanks in no little part to the chilling and sure-handed direction of cast member Thomas Bigley and the translation of cast member Jamey Hecht that makes the dialogue simple yet lyrical at the same time. And Charles Pasternak proves once again there's no role he can't master and make his own. Their ending leaves little doubt how fearless and heartbreaking the Porters can be when they tell a story. Go see it.

Sorry but the five reviews on file must be friends; three was generous; the chorus was poor and lead actor was o.k. but nobody was the least convincing; most need more precision in their diction.
