Democracy rules at every performance of this crazy comedy about a newlywed named Digby whose brand spanking-new marriage comes under fire from friends and strangers alike. And if that isn't enough, a nutty ex-girlfriend also shows up to further his marital strife. The audience decides by vote how they'd like to see the story turn out, in this show written and developed by Paul Storiale and his Comedy Bandits improv troupe. This revamped version of Sally Spectre The Musical, David P. Johnson’s multiple award-winning one-act show, is timed perfectly to run during the upcoming Halloween season. With a new cast featuring Justine Huxley as the charming child-ghost victim of a crazed hatchet murderer in New Orleans circa 1850, this new production is also proud to have Los Angeles and New York veteran and Lucile Lortel nominated Director/Choreographer Janet Miller at the helm.
Creator David P. Johnson sums up the story: An irreverent musical about the ghost of a little girl who attempts to reconcile her own death by confronting the things that she fears most. Little Sally’s time in the comfort of her self-created purgatory, which is becoming increasingly disturbing, is starting to slip away. With a little guidance from an unlikely and unexpected host of sources, she must find the path that will lead her a more peaceful ending.
