This was a horrible experience. I drove an hour to go to this show and got to the door 10 mins late. The said free parking lot gate was closed so I had to find street parking a couple of blocks away. When I got to the door, it was locked. When someone finally got to the door, they said that the show was at capacity and it had already started. WTF? how could it be at capacity if I PURCHASED TICKETS? The detail of this show clearly stated, "Latecomers will be seated as they arrive." The guy, who stated was the secretary of the venue, was stumped other than to apologize for the inconvenience. He told me to go back to goldstar for a refund and gave me his card if I was having trouble getting one. I understand that since I was late, I would miss the beginning of the show and not get ideal seats but, how can you overbook shows? This derailed my entire day and worst of all, disappointed my 8 year old.Written on Aug 16 2010

I took my four and a half year old twin grandchildren. It was the second time they attended a live musical for children. They liked it. It was a cute play that had a nice message. The actors enjoyed themselves and so did the audience. Good job!Written on Aug 18 2010

I loved it, the kids loved it. It was a small theater, so all seats were great. Parking on Sunday was free. There was little in the way of scenery, however, the acting was very good and the play was written very well, so scenery was not a big miss. Also the play is one hour, good for little ones. Also, the actors interact with the audience to expect thelittle ones to really get into this. Also the actors stay come back out and take pictures and talk with the audience. My youngest 7, loved that. So go enjoy and bring the family.Written on Aug 09 2010

Description
Action! Adventure! Romance! Ninja Koalas! Those are just a few of the elements that make up Super Sidekick, the brand new original children’s musical from rising L.A. playwright Gregory Crafts (Friends Like These). This exciting, heart-warming and inspiring play, with original music by Michael Gordon Shapiro, follows this dynamic duo as they track the evil Sorcerer Slurm to the Cave of Doom to rescue the Princess. The modest and hard-working Inky gets his moment to shine when the bumbling Blackjack also gets caught. Now he needs to save them both before they fall prey to Slurm’s Terrible Tickler in this hysterically funny, beautiful story of bravery and friendship.
