Deborah Pryor
Award-winning playwright, screenwriter and actor Deborah Pryor has had productions of her plays at Ensemble Studio Theatre, Arena Stage Theatre, the Hudson Guild Theatre and the Actor’s Theatre of Louisville Humana Festival. She’s produced two powerful films, Briar Patch and Angelmaker.
An NEA Playwriting Fellow and Rinehart Award recipient, her film Briar Patch also garnered the Charles MacArthur Award and Nicoll Fellowship for Outstanding New Screenplay. Dominique Swain and Henry Thomas starred in the hit, dark feature.
Ms. Pryor’s currently a member of the Playwrights’ Unit in Washington, DC.
