Regarding the venue - It's a small theater, probably around 50 seats? The seats are low and a bit uncomfortable as they seem to be pretty worn. I had read a tip that it gets cold in there, so I took a shawl, which I used for part of it, but my friend was a bit hot, so go figure. There is one bathroom each for men and women. It's next door, but this is a building where the doors and the venue/offices are rightnexttoeachother, so it's not a big deal. You do have to climb stairs, though.

They had drinks before the show. I just got a bottled water but my friend got a beer called Tallulah. Cool. There was another called Prohibition. I'm not sure what they had during intermission. We ate after the show at this place called Little Toni's which is right next door. They didn't close until 2am on Saturday, so it was perfect. Food was good. It's like an old-school Italian restaurant.

Very funny. Don't mistake the title as the play has minimal off color language.

Good performance by the actors and actresses. The theme of the play very true and identifiable by many girls. Good use of the only set available turning it into differents areas by replacing small details. unexpected ending.

I was grateful that I did not pay full price but, the acting was good, the venue nice, but the script was very disjointed. The Clown stole the show!!!!! He was believable, loveable and that with a script that was less than good.

Above the Curve Theatre presents the world premiere of This is My F-ing Wedding by Francisco Castro and directed by Tiffany Roberts at the Actor’s Workout Studio in North Hollywood.

In this southern comedy, Jessie has already gone through two grooms, Carlos (incarcerated) and Maurice (institutionalized).  Now Jessie is onto the third love of her life, Tommy, but will she get married this time? That depends on if they can survive her crazy family!

“What I love most about the play is how it shows that although some relationships thrive on bickering and infighting, love must be at the core because if your friends or family didn’t care so much, they wouldn’t drive you so crazy,” Tiffany Roberts, director of This is My F-ing Wedding.
