It's true: They're Weird, always On and at the Top of their game! This improv comedy troupe's show at Eclectic Company Theatre fills the bill for some side-splitting, tear-inducing, undergarment-threatening laughter.

This Troupe was fun--- all of it seemed be impromptu with some basic frame to it. They take lots of audience suggestions which is a big plus!
Lots of interaction with audience too. Their style is awesome- in one skit one guy had to figure out what the other 3 were acting out. They had me and my boyfriend laughing the whole time. Street parking was a breeze! They started about 10 minutes late- I think they were waiting for all the guests to arrive (nice!).
They have free cheese/crackers/meats and offer beer or candy for a $3 (or what ever) donation.
We had a lot of fun at this show. Their improv was excellent and it's always fun when they use your suggestions. This is one of the best bargains in town since our tickets were FREE plus service charge. Where can two people go out on a Saturday night for $7? The people after us were paying full price so we really felt lucky to know about Goldstar. When we got home we purchased tickets for next month's show. Definitely worth it.
I hate to be the negative one, but this was very amateur improv comedy. The comedians were really stretching to make jokes and the audience was not very involved. It was uncomfortable watching some of the skits because they had no direction and there were very few laughs. I applaud anyone who gets up in front of an audience to perform, but this bunch could use a lot more practice before they try it again.
