Full Price:
$42.00 - $57.00
Our Price:
$21.00 - $28.50

Valley Performing Arts Center presents Barbara Cook in concert at the Great Hall. A Tony, Grammy and Drama Desk Award-winner and a member of the Theatre Hall of Fame, Cook was Broadway's favorite ingénue and, of late, has been enjoying a career as a concert and recording artist. Throughout her esteemed career, Cook's silverly soprano has retained its pure tone and warm presence, to much critical and popular acclaim. In 2010, at the age of 83, Cook earned a Tony nomination for her performance in Sondheim on Sondheim on Broadway. She has performed with a number of symphony orchestras, in cabaret settings and at such esteemed venues as Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center and London's Royal Albert Hall. Learn More

I wasn't sure what to expect. I was surprised to see them backed by the 30 piece Valley Symphony orchestra, which were fantastic. The show was wonderful. I was lucky enough to see them on Broadway in "Next to Normal" playing husband and wife, and they were wonderful together here in this evening of standards. Hope they come back! My first time at the new Performing arts center. What a great new venue. The acoustics were wonderful.

This was a wonderful evening of Broadway tunes.
Both singers were very good and together they were delightful; strong, beautiful voices.

Acoustics were horrible for this type of cabaret performance at Valley Performing Arts Center. Due to sound system her voice was shrill and at times could not understand the words within the songs due to acoustics. Probably great for other type of venues..

Excellent.
Two giften performers who not only have glorious voices and winning personalities, but also inject their numbers with humor and movement. This was definitely a delightful evening at a beautiful venue.
