Affairs Afloat presents its popular Tropicana Fridays Cruise. A live DJ plays a hot mix of Top 40 and dance music hits to keep the crowd moving. It all happens during a three-hour cruise (but music starts a full hour earlier, at the dock) down the Hudson River and through New York's famous harbor, with spectacular views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. What a great investment!! $140 top shelf open bar, 3 floors with a club-like ambiance! Able to walk out on deck to see the fireworks by the statue. Having the appetizers go around were a nice little treat as well. It was an AMAZING night!!Written on Jan 03 2012

The views are the what saved this night . They were beautiful. Wish they could have at least cleaned the windows. The boat wad decorated nicely but definitely did not have enough tables and seating for everyone. The bartenders didn't know how to make simple drinks tasted horrible, there may have been plenty of drinks but if you can't make them right its a waste. The fireworks were nice but we started to move away as soon as they went off. As far as tthe appetizers, they were barely any one women came around once halfway thru the cruise. The Dj was pretty good though. Plenty of dancing.Written on Jan 02 2012
