Affairs Afloat presents its popular Tropicana Fridays Cruise. A live DJ plays a hot mix of Top 40 and dance music hits to keep the crowd moving. It all happens during a three-hour cruise (but music starts a full hour earlier, at the dock) down the Hudson River and through New York's famous harbor, with spectacular views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. We went the whole way there and the boat was over sold so we couldn't even board. There were at least 30 other people who were turned away also. If you're very serious about going then plan on being there 1-1.5 hrs early.

The Sexy Saturday was a good event overall. The drinks were (ripoff) $12-$14 bucks a drink and they watered them down with some much juice.. the food looked very tasteful (didnt get any as all my money went to drinks!!) but alot of ppl seem to enjoy the food.Besides that the crowd was cool everyone enjoyed themselves and was very friendly. The music was ok depending on wht u like to hear...i wish the djs had more variety as far as music seem like the played the same songs more then once...They said no jeans and sneakers and i was upset ppl came in just tht!!! Otherwise the event was cool and i would go again!!!

We enjoyed the event nevertheless the drinks were too expensive and were too water down. The only think I did not like was that the DJ did not play Spanish music, in both floor was RnB most of the time. But we definetly buy tickets next time!
