The club will be infused with the true Latin party spirit, sensuality and flavors, featuring an all-star band of acclaimed international musicians curated by Chalo Eduardo (who has performed with Santana and Ricky Martin) playing classic Carnaval hits. It was just okay. I guess being a member of Goldstar I have experienced a higher grade of ships and tend to have a feel of the quality. This was'nt one of the top quality ships. At the time that I went the ship didn't sail until a hour later. The dinner plate was $10.00. The plate was filled abundantly. You were unable to bring a bottle of water aboard the Queen of Hearts. Would I go again, I have another ticket I will give it a try. I was dancing in my seat. The seating was limited so get there early.Written on Sep 26 2009

I have to start off by saying that I love Goldstar. This event was absolutely was a disaster. I arrived at the dock with my boyfriend early, 9:00pm. We were ready with our tickets, but were stopped by one of the guys who was taking the tickets. He took my ticket and let me pass. He stopped my boyfriend and asked him to open up his sweater. He had on an Ed Hardy shirt..and the guy then says that he can't get on"dressed like that". He said the guys need to have on a collered shirt. I told him I pre-purchased the tickets on Goldstar, and I didn't see it stated anywhere that was what guys needed to wear. He got the "guy who runs Affairs Afloat" and he said the same thing. He seemed to not care that I had the tickets, and said maybe I can get a refund. He claimed he was turning people away all nght, but I dont think that was true. If you ask me, it was racially motivated and I was going to argue with him, but it wasn't even worth it. I went on the Zephyr last year and they didn't act like that. That boat was much bigger and better, and they let you come on no problem. I did inform Goldstar and they credited me. It was not there fault at all-just that specific event and those specific guys that were at the gate, they were racist. Sad,but true. I will wait for my Zephyr boat to come back around next year, and from reading other reviews about this boat-I'm glad I didn't waste my time, and I got my money back.*Written on Sep 26 2009

I'm sorry, but this boat needs to be retired to the shipyards. It was incredibly hot on the lower deck, the upper deck was packed, the music sounded horrible coming from terrible speakers, and all their idea of climate control were huge fans, which people were hovering around. Terrible!Written on Jul 12 2010
