It was well produced, but not well directed. Overall, the show seemed to miss the point. It was too clean and flashy...not gritty enough. Some great vocals on almost all the actors, and some really good performances here and there, but overall, just not really on target.

The show was excellent! From top to bottom, it was very well acted, sung and danced. The show was well-paced and the sets were striking and evocative. We were especially moved by the acting and singing of the actors playing Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schultz, who effectively drew out the poignancy of their story. We're considering going to see it again.

I enjoyed this production at Drury Lane, it was excellent - the talent, the set, costumes and choreography were brilliant. The artistic direction and choices of original vs revival were well thought out, allowing the message of the play to be heard. I would go and see and pay full price but, love that Goldstar has access to such fine theatre events at such reasonable prices.

Set in the sexy, sultry Kit Kat Klub, before the Nazis rise to power in early 1930’s Berlin, Cabaret is a provocative tale of love and war. This mesmerizing show depicts the intertwined stories of an English cabaret singer, an American writer, a rich German politician, a Jewish fruit vendor and the denizens of Berlin who are caught in a tumultuous changing society.
