The pump boys sell high octane fuel on North Carolina's Highway 57 and the sassy dinettes, Prudie and Rhetta Cupp, run the Double Cupp diner next door. Between changing tires and baking pies, the gang performs a rousing, down-home mix of country western, rock n' roll and blues in this charming tale of friendship, romance and life's simple pleasures.

Excellent musicians & acting, music a bit obscure, but all in all, very cute and entertaining.

The cast was outstanding. The set was excellent. Have seen this play twice before...enjoy the music. Prefer it in a smaller venue. All in all, it was fun.

The seats were great. we were right up front to the left side of stage. the play was fun and lively. they included audience participation which drew us all into the party. the content of the story was weak and it could have had a little more substitive guts. the actors were talented but not tremedous.
