A man accused of a murder he didn't commit flees from the authorities and into a string of hair-raising adventures -- as well as an unlikely romance -- in Patrick Barlow's ingenious comic adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock's suspenseful thriller The 39 Steps. This fast-paced and funny whodunit turns a cast of four talented actors into more than 150 zany characters in a production that's brimming with action and inventive stagecraft. Critically acclaimed, The 39 Steps was the recipient of two 2008 Tony and Drama Desk Awards as well as a Tony nod for Best Play.

Lively, Heartwarming Musical Oliver! at Drury Lane Theatre

Full Price:
$35.00 - $49.00
Our Price:
$17.50 - $24.50

Based on Dickens' beloved character from the novel Oliver Twist, this boisterous musical follows young orphan Oliver from the dreary surroundings of a workhouse to the streets of Victorian London, where he unwittingly falls in with a gang of pickpockets. Featuring memorable songs like "Food, Glorious Food," "Consider Yourself," "Where Is Love?" and "As Long as He Needs Me," the endearing tale tackles relatable themes: the search for love, the triumph of right over wrong, the hope for a better world, and the belief that life is worth living. Oliver! premiered in London's West End in 1960, debuted on Broadway in 1963, and was made into a musical film in 1968. Learn More

unfortunately this was a disappointment. I like comedy and mysteries but I thought it was weak.
The quick change was amusing but not laugh out loud funny. The "thriller" part was not thriller. I hope they speak louder because between the lines being too soft and the accent very hard to hear, and you could hear a pin drop.

Quite clever in terms of both spoken and physical comedy! Engaging and fun!
Accents occasionally went in and out, but it did not affect overall enjoyment one bit.
A definite recommend, especially at half the price!
