Nguyen Dance Company reaches out to all who have been affected by the Vietnam War, the wars before it, and the wars that followed. Struggle to Survive shares the stories of Vietnamese refugees as a reminder of war’s horrific nature and consequences. While the stories and experiences are unique, the underlying emotions and themes are something to which all audience members can relate. By celebrating diversity and increasing cultural awareness we will be able to live harmoniously and work towards a better world.
