McAfee Coliseum of Oakland (Oakland, CA)
Sunday afternoon baseball comes to McAfee Coliseum when the Oakland A's take on their division rivals, the Texas Rangers. The A's and the Rangers battled it out all season long last year and it's expected to be more of the same in 2008. First 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a Campy Campaneris '60s Retro Jersey.

When we arrived at the stadium TWO HOURS before the event, there were THOUSANDS of fans waiting in line for the Campanaris Jersey giveaway.
My friend and I were too late to receive the giveaway, and I then heard that many seats were being deep discounted because of a radio promotion. I was ready to be disappointed, but not so.
The seats in the Goldstar section were great and at field level. The weather was beautiful and the A's won! What more could we ask? We sat next to many other happy Goldstar members.
Thanks, Goldstar, again for offering us a wonderful outing.
