My guest and I loved this performance!! The theater itself is wonderful with it's rough-hewn walls and ceiling and the seats have great views of the stage. The National Players are all college-age performers who were just fantastic. The costumes were simple, but really added to the story and sets. We both really enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to our next attendance at a National Players performance!Written on Jan 12 2009

I've seen As You Like It performed several times -- on the stage and on film and TV. I've always found the plot a little frivolous, but the youthful and flirtatous version by the twenty-somethings of the National Players brought home to me that the plot really fits the attitudes of youth, and that young people performing the play gives it greater credibility. I commend the National Players highly for presenting a fresh take on Shakespearean comedy.Written on Jan 12 2009
