The highlight of this year's Chapman University Fall Dance Concert, featuring the school's student dancers, will be a reconstruction of Bella Lewitzky's "Pietas" by her daughter, Nora Reynolds Daniel, and Sean Greene, Chapman adjunct faculty member and longtime member of Lewitzky's company. Directed by Nancy Dickson-Lewis, the highlight will be a reconstruction of Bella Lewitzky's "Pietas" by her daughter, Nora Reynolds Daniel and Sean Greene, Chapman adjunct faculty member and longtime member of Lewitzky's company. The performance will also include works by Dale A. Merrill, former Artistic Director of Spectrum Dance Theater in Seattle, Nancy Dickson-Lewis, a nationally recognized choreographer, Liz Maxwell, who has danced with Laura Dean and Donald Byrd, Alicia Okouchi-Guy, who has choreographed for major motion pictures and professional dance teams, and Jennifer Backhaus, founder of Orange County's critically acclaimed Backhausdance. The concert will feature Chapman University's student dancers, known for their technical prowess and creative spirit.
