The show was OK. The food was just so-so. The one thing we liked was that the show incorporates the audience.

The show and food were quite good, but when compared to the Magic Castle at 5 stars, this was unfortunately only worth 2 stars.
Furthermore, their inclusion of a mandatory tip (almost $12) on my bill for only two people, when their printed policy states that this is for parties of six or more (as well as a line for a tip on my credit card receipt) was absolutely in bad taste, as well as being beyond the law.
I will not return to this establishment, even though Merlin (the magician)and his "wench" (our server) were good to us.

If you are looking for something different, this is the place. The meal itself is worth the cost, but add the entertainment and its definitely worth it! Our table was 19 yrs to 66 yrs old but its good for all ages.

The show and dinner were adequate. The surprise came in the form of a large mandatory gratuity and refusal to return my change from paying the bill.

food was not fresh, service and quality was lacking.
the place was dirty, their costumes were old and looked like they hadn't washed it in ages...
you sit with other people at the table.. and while you eat.. there's nothing going on except to look at the stranger in front of you eat.. magic show was after, and it was also lacking.. half of it was just his jokes..
AND!!! MOST SHOCKING...
they ADDED about 12% gratuity no matter how small your party was..
(gratuity i dont believe was deserved at all)
all in all..: POOR, CHEAP, TASTELESS

The food was adequate and certainly plentiful and the price was certainly right, but the magic is substandard unless you are a 6 year old and then you might be amazed.

It was really fun for a family; especially if you are celebrating a birthday. It is a small intimate venue where Merlin interacts with the audience throughout the show. Don't forget to bring a camera in case you or one of your group end up on stage! Food was great! Kids loved it and it was really a great value!!

The magic show was less than second rate. The food left much to be desired. I regret going all the way there to be greatly disappointed.

I was expecting wizardry and something big, instead it was like an opening act all throughout. Merlin was taking food orders and a couple of wenches/waitresses would stop serving all of a sudden, and start telling a lame joke. No WOW factor at all. Come to think of it, change my rating to 1 star.

The show is apparently focused more toward families with children than for adults.
The food was good, despite the slow service.

It was a very nice show and dinner. I is a great family show for kids to enjoy. The seating is the only thing I would improve on. I would of rated it a 4 star if the seating was better.

Fun event. The dinner was better than anticipated and the show was good entertainment for all age family members. Reasonable price for a good show and dinner.

I liked the show and food, especially the Ribs where delicious. Is a good place for kids and family. I was expecting more magic but overall it was pretty good for the price. I liked the comedy and jokes.

The show was rather entertaining at times in its own corny sort of way. A few of the magic skits were very well performed as well as there also was some "old school" magic thrown in for familiarity. Most of the food was good, but the ribs were rather salty and much to be desired. If you want good bbq, just go east a few doors down and there is a great bbq place for less money. Merlin's is an entertaining place to eat ONCE... but would probably not be a repeat customer.
