Written on Apr 23 2010Neat adaptation of this play. Super small theatre and local cast. All in all an enjoyable evening.
Written on Oct 13 2009Wonderful performers. A few of these actors will be performing on a stage on Broadway in New York City.
Written on Oct 12 2009I have seen the production several times including both amateur and professional versions. This was as good as any I have seen. The staging was wonderful and the cast did a fabulous job. I didn't think they could do anything new with Puck, but they did, and it was great.
Written on Oct 12 2009Considering the tiny stage area, and the largeness of Shakespeare's words, I think the cast did a great job! The magician who plays Puck is the true star of the show, and he's captivating whenever he's on stage. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The venue would benefit by having a stage and perhaps microphones, but all in all it worked well.

Description
When Hermia's father tries to force her to marry Demetrius rather than her true love Lysander, she escapes into the forest to elope with her true love. She is followed by Demetrius and by Helena, who is in love with Demetrius. Add a group of wild fairies, a mixed-up love potion and some foolish workmen practicing a play, and it becomes a comedy of epic proportions.
