Written with humor and compassion, this heartfelt comedy focuses on the lives of four mentally challenged men and their communal residence caretaker -- all of whom must define for themselves the purpose and meaning of their lives. Whether they're dealing with delusions of grandeur, an irresistible sweet tooth or deep-seated insecurities, Tom Griffin's play explores the lives of its characters through a series of vignettes with a poignant point of view and a prescription-strength dose of humor. An off-Broadway hit that was also made into a TV movie, The Boys Next Door serves as a thoughtful reminder of the little things in life that many of us so often take for granted. Learn More

This show was deeply moving and will stay with me. The cast is incredible, most notably Andrew David James and Micheal Beck. These two leads have an easy chemistry that instantly endears them to the audience. It was a joy to watch the interplay between them, and a sorrow to see it end.
The Elite Theatre has been doing amazing work lately (I stayed on for the evening performance of Dark Heart of Poe which was also fantastic!). I can't wait to see what they come up with next!
