Hitchins is a brilliant, articulate speaker with highly interesting insights to share regarding his trips to the "axis of evil" countries. His Commonwealth Club lecture and Q and A were excellent, sprinkled with humor and a treat for the ear with his ability to speak in complex sentences---something at which the British excel. Definitely a 5-star performance.

This was my first Commonwealth Club "live" event --and it won't be my last! Excellent speaker, well organized, good venue for the discussion.

I would have liked for the talk to have been longer, but he's always a fascinating speaker. He related his own experiences of life under the 3 totalitarian regimes.
