The New Century Chamber Orchestra presents Elevations, a newly commissioned work by featured composer Mark O'Connor. The first movement in the two-movement pastoral piece deals with elements of nature; the second movement deals with elements of humanity. Also on the program are Elgar's Larghetto from Serenade for Strings in E minor, op. 20, and Introduction and Allegro for Strings; Frank Bridge's Sir Roger de Coverly and Alfred Schnittke's Moz-art a la Haydn.
