Really great fun! The instructors were really nice and easygoing. You definitely get your money's worth and will have alot of fun.

It was a lot of fun - my son and I went and the people teaching as well as learning were real nice.
I've already called some other friends and recommended this event to them.

About 2.5 hours long. Basics of curling taught in small groups and friendly instructors. I highly recommend it if you're open to new things. It is a lot more active than you might suppose. Go with a group of friends and curl it up.

This clinic on the Olympic sport of curling is appropriate for the whole family. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a seasoned Canadian; all are welcome to join in the fun of this 500-year-old game. All equipment and instruction will be provided. New curlers are welcome to stay and watch league matches immediately following the clinics.
Note to participants of one of Hollywood Curling's Open House events: This Learn to Curl clinic differs from the Open House in that it's smaller groups and will offer more advanced instruction and game play for those returning from a previous Open House or Learn To Curl.
Hollywood Curling was founded in the Fall of 2007 by Nick Kitinsky and Tom Hemenway in an effort to promote curling in Los Angeles. With the help of Curl San Diego and USA Curling, Hollywood Curling has grown rapidly to become the premiere place to curl in the Los Angeles area. As part of the United States Curling Association, Hollywood Curling hopes to make Southern California a home to competitive and casual curlers alike. Since it's inception, the club has had a number of successful open houses, a spring and summer league as well as a Fourth of July tournament that brought teams from San Diego, Phoenix and San Francisco to compete. Currently, Hollywood Curling's ladies team, nicknamed "The Bond Girls," is preparing to represent the Mountain Pacific region at the 2009 USCA Club Nationals tournament in Utica, New York.
