I signed up for this event to learn more about this bizarre sport and never would have thought curling could be much fun. I'd highly recommend it for most people.

About the Ticket Supplier: Hollywood Curling

Hollywood Curling was founded in the Fall of 2007 by Nick Kitinsky and Tom Hemenway in an effort to promote curling in Los Angeles. With the help of Curl San Diego and USA Curling, Hollywood Curling has grown rapidly to become the premiere place to curl in the Los Angeles area.

As part of the United States Curling Association, Hollywood Curling hopes to make Southern California a home to competitive and casual curlers alike. Since it's inception, the club has had a number of successful open houses, a spring and summer league as well as a Fourth of July tournament that brought teams from San Diego, Phoenix and San Francisco to compete.

Currently, Hollywood Curling's ladies team, nicknamed "The Bond Girls," is preparing to represent the Mountain Pacific region at the 2009 USCA Club Nationals tournament in Utica, New York.
