The comedians were great, we enjoyed ourselves. The drinks are a bit pricey and they don't let you in to get seated unless your entire party is with you at the door.

We arrived early at 7:30 for the 8:30 show, and ended up buying an additional drink each while waiting. The drinks were small and not very good and expensive. The show was very funny, everything we expected, but they were serving food throughout the show which was distracting. The ladies room has only one stall!!

Go Giants!!!

There were 14 of us at the Ice House for this event. All 3 comedians were hysterically funny! I was extremely stoked when I found out that John Fox was performing. I haven't seen him in 13 yrs & he was in rare form. We were laughing from beginning to end.
Warning: Drink prices have gone up!

More Details About This Event:

Thu. 7/17 and Fri 7/18 – Loni Love.

Detroit native Loni Love is a former engineer by day and comic at night.  She got her first break when she stood in line for five hours at a open call for the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival. Loni beat out 600 comics to earn a spot for the festival and was awarded the Jury Prize for best stand-up at the 2003 U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.  Soon after, she was also voted one of Variety's “10 Comics to Watch.” Loni has appeared in numerous projects including VH-1’s I Love the 80s, Girlfriends, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and several shows on Comedy Central.

Thu. 7/24 – Michael Loftus

After founding the Midwest Comedy Tool & Die improv comedy troupe in Columbus, Ohio, writer/comedian/actor Michael Loftus headed to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a stand-up comic.  Soon after, he appeared on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and on Star Search.  He has received rave reviews for his political humor and his unique stream of consciousness style of stand-up comedy.  He also was a writer on the hit ABC comedy The George Lopez Show, starring Ice House alum George Lopez.  He is a regular headliner at clubs across the country, bringing his high energy, off the cuff comedy to sell-out crowds.

Fri. 7/25 – Bobby Collins

A born storyteller, Queens native Bobby Collins has always been confident, charismatic and a master of the smooth delivery. Tall, with dark, curly hair, his gift of gab landed him a job with Calvin Klein when a company executive saw Collins sell Klein's wife some jewelry at the Garment Center in Manhattan. One year later, at age 26 he was atop the corporate ranks as vice president for the fashion company, all the while moonlighting as a comic. He honed his stand-up skills until finally arriving on the Las Vegas scene. He gave up Calvin Klein to realize his passion as a comedian, and it's been a riot ever since.

The New York Post has called him a “perfect fusion of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.”  His heartfelt humor engages audiences with a hilarious blend of characterizations and spot-on observations to which everyone can relate.  Topping Bobby’s first comedy CD, “On the Inside”, his second and third CDs “Out of Bounds” and “I Wanna Go Home” were submitted for Grammy consideration.  With live stage performances, feature film roles and talk show appearances too numerous to mention, there is no excuse for anyone to leave the planet without having benefited from exposure to Bobby Collins’ brand of “Laughter as the Best Medicine.”

Sun. 7/27 – Aisha Tyler

As beautiful as she is hilarious, former Talk Soup host Aisha Tyler's knack for razor-sharp comedy has landed her appearances on everything from The Tonight Show and Politically Incorrect to HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.  Tyler was hailed by Daily Variety as “a breakthrough talent headed for an impact on comedy” and from the moment she stepped onto the comedy landscape she has proved herself one to watch.

Thu. 7/31 and Fri. 8/01 – Jeff Burghart and Peter Berman (co-headliners)

What do an LA store clerk, a Wisconsin dairy farmer, and a Spanish Rodney Dangerfield have in common?  They all reside in Jeff Berghart's head.  The Texas native’s keen wit, with his signature blend of characters and impressions, keep the audience guessing as to what he’ll do (or who he’ll be) from one moment to the next.   Jeff’s most potent voice, however, is his own.  Proclaimed by Jerry Lewis as one of the “craziest people” he’s ever met, Jeff’s energetic style and acerbic lampooning of life’s lunacy make him truly unique.  His television appearances include Comedy Central, BET and the MDA Telethon.

Los Angeles resident Peter Berman's big break came when counter-culture guru Dr. Timothy Leary caught the fledgling comic’s act and invited him to perform a gig in Hollywood.  Peter quickly became a regular on the LA stand-up comedy scene, opening for such top comics as Tim Allen and Paul Reiser.  A husband, father, and dog owner, Peter sees his life as a “continual coming of age story” and it’s a source of material for his comedy.  In addition to performing internationally, Berman’s TV appearances include The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, NBC’s Friday Night and his own half hour Comedy Central special.

Sun. 8/03 – Mark Sweet

A certified clinical hypnotherapist, Mark Sweet's moniker is the “Happy Hypnotist.”  With his blend of hypnosis and comedy, Sweet pulls seemingly ordinary people from the audience and makes them capable of doing extraordinary things by tapping into the subconscious mind.  He has been seen on "Access Hollywood", “The Today Show” and CNN and has been featured in The New York Times.  He currently works warming-up studio audiences in "Reba", "Yes, Dear," "According to Jim,” “Less Than Perfect” and "Two and a Half Men".

Thu. 8/14 (8 p.m. show) and Fri. 8/15 – Kevin Jordan

A native of Queens, N.Y., Kevin Jordan moved to Los Angeles after graduation and joined the L. A. Police Department.  After five years with the force he gave up police life.  There was a time when he juggled both careers but decided to pursue comedy full-time when he realized… "When I pulled someone over I didn't know whether to write them a ticket or tell them a joke!"  Jordan’s blend of high energy and lovable charm makes him a favorite wherever he performs.  His stories of his police days, family life and his everyday view on life always draw huge laughs from his audiences.  Many television appearances highlight Jordan’s career including The Today Show, Evening at the Improv, VH-1, MTV, Comedy Central and Fox’s Comic Strip Live!

Thu. 8/21 and Fri. 8/22 – Ian Bagg

Because he is a master of “off the cuff” comedy, you never know what Ian Bagg might say.  Having been described as “sarcastic, witty and just plain funny,” Bagg began his comedy career in 1992 in his native Canada and soon made his way to New York City. There he made several appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, HBO's Louie Anderson’s Comedy Showcase and Doctor Katz on Comedy Central.  He was also invited to perform at the Aspen Comedy Arts Festival and the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival.  In 2000, Bagg moved to Los Angeles after making his film debut in "The Cradle Will Rock".  After appearing on Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Bagg made his debut on The Tonight Show.  His film credits include "Coyote Ugly," "The Purpose," "MVP II" and "MVP III."
