The comedians were great, we enjoyed ourselves. The drinks are a bit pricey and they don't let you in to get seated unless your entire party is with you at the door.

We arrived early at 7:30 for the 8:30 show, and ended up buying an additional drink each while waiting. The drinks were small and not very good and expensive. The show was very funny, everything we expected, but they were serving food throughout the show which was distracting. The ladies room has only one stall!!

There were 14 of us at the Ice House for this event. All 3 comedians were hysterically funny! I was extremely stoked when I found out that John Fox was performing. I haven't seen him in 13 yrs & he was in rare form. We were laughing from beginning to end.
Warning: Drink prices have gone up!

This was the second time I went to the Ice House this summer and both times the headliner canceled and was replaced last minute by someone I had never heard of. Hopefully your comedian shows up so you will not be disappointed. I bought tickets for someone billed as clean, family comedy and the replacement was very foul-mouthed and heartily made fun of his wife so it was the opposite of what I was expecting. There were three comdians plus an emcee in the line up for the night. They are arranged in order from least famous or experienced to most, and given time accordingly. Both times I liked unbilled beginners better than the veterans. The Ice House is definitely a fun club to try, but it is a gamble as to what you'll actually get.

Bret Ernst is a little nutty but in the most awesome and funniest ways!!! And he didn't have to pick on the audience to be funny...we were a little skeptical about being seated right up next to the steps of the stage. After the show, my fiance and I couldn't stop trying to figure out if all of the stuff he talked about was true...his materials are so out there that it'd be hard to make up.

Everyone else in the line-up was so-so. W/ the exception of Bret Ernst, we have seen them all at one time or another before. The Ice House never disappoints.

Mark Pitta is hilarious! It was a great show and we had good seats!

The Ice House waitress staff is very pushy about enforcing the 2 drink minimum. Order two drinks the second you sit down. If you don't, they will hassle you every 2 minutes about the drink requirement and you won't be able to enjoy the show.

The overpriced drinks we bought from the bar didn't count toward the drink requirement.

The club is an older club, seats a smaller venue than I expected. However, the show was pretty good, the first comic was horrible, but the other four made it up. My girlfriend and I were in tears from the other three comedians. The two drink minimum wasn't bad, and the drinks were not bad at all. There was easy parking for $4.50 across the street from the Ice House. And Old Town Pasadena was about a mile and a half down the street. We had a good evening and for a great price. We paid about $40 for 4 drinks (tip included) plus the tickets from Goldstar.

The last two comics were hysterical. I especially enjoyed Orny Adams. I would definitely see him again. Our waitress Andrea was wonderful and made sure our drinks came in a timely manner. We had great seats right next to the stage. The drinks were good, just enough alcohol. I highly recommend this venue. We went on a Thursday so it was not overly crowded. The only drawback ladies is there is only one stall in the ladies room.

Just make sure to have the ticket person indicate you have goldstar tickets not COMPs. They seat you according to 3 colors and I did not get a color card because the ran out and ending up handing me a COMP card so I would have been sat in the last group if I had not mentioned this to the hostess.

I really enjoyed the show. The comedians were very funny a few times I even had tears coming out from laughing so hard. The 1st comedian really sucked, he was not funny at all but all the rest were very funny. I had read others comments about the Ice House before attending and I noticed alot of complaints about the drinks not being good. My date & I have no complaints about the drinks, ours were actually very good. I will definitely go back to the Ice House the price was well worth it. Thank you. :)

We had a great time on Sunday night. Ace is a great up-and-coming comedian...seems to be cutting his chops well. He had ecxellent timing and rapport with the audience (and he had a great voice).

Ron Pearson was high energy and lots of fun. Props and juggling usually don't work with a stand-up act, but he made it hilarious and exciting. He is a seasoned professional and really relaxed with his audience.

The venue is really easily reached, with convenient parking and a great, courteous staff. We're definitely going again soon.

Thanks for the great evening, Ice House!

They were super nice at the ice house with seating arrangements! I had a large group and didn't RSVP so there was no guarantee but because we got there at 8PM for an 8:30 show (thanks to Goldstars recommendation) they were able to accommodate us. The only thing I found a little odd was the fact that even though I technically bought a ticket - at the will call they gave us Comp tickets, so it was like a free ride but I already paid, isn't it ironic?

I LOOVED this event! Parking was easy. The Ice House was easy to find. and there doesn't look to be a bad seat in the house. Pasadena is a great place to spend the day, and top off a day with a comedy show. Orny Adams and Mark Eddie were both so funny and warm and talented, they both knocked it out of the park. I was grinning from ear to ear the whole show. Great, historic venue, well organized with friendly staff.
