Absolutely the most fun ever @ the Playhouse. We took our daughter, our 10 year-old grandson & a friend, & we all had a terrific time. The music was terrific, & the concept exceptional...only one negative...a bit disturbed by the sword & balloon act. My favorite was the clown with the ball as well as the blue & lime green characters. We all came home 'happy' & 'connected'.
*July 19-20: Justin Willman — _Tricked Out
_*_USA TODAY _says Justin Willman is “like a magician but cooler.” From his monthly sell-out shows in the back of a trendy L.A. comic book shop to theaters across the country, Justin has become one of the busiest touring performers in America. His comedy-flavored miracles have earned him a devoted cult following as well as frequent television appearances on Ellen and The Tonight Show. Sweet-toothed frosting fans will recognize Justin as the host of Cupcake Wars on the Food Network for the past eight seasons, but his greatest trick to date was receiving a standing ovation from President Obama following a private performance at the White House. _

_*July 27: Frank Ferrante —* An Evening With Groucho
Award-winning actor/director/playwright Frank Ferrante recreates his PBS, New York and London acclaimed portrayal of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in this fast paced 90 minutes of hilarity. The two-act comedy consists of the best Groucho one-liners, anecdotes and songs including “Hooray For Captain Spaulding,” and “Lydia, the Tattooed Lady.” The audience literally becomes part of the show as Ferrante ad-libs his way throughout the performance in grand Groucho style. Accompanied by his onstage pianist, Mark Rabe, Ferrante portrays the young Groucho of stage and film and reacquaints us with the likes of brothers Harpo, Chico, Zeppo and Gummo, Charlie Chaplin, W.C. Fields, Greta Garbo, Marx foil, Margaret Dumont and MGM’s Louis B. Mayer. A show perfect for all ages! _
“Uncanny … astonishing.” – L.A. Weekly
