Chosen as one of the best comics at HBO’s Aspen Comedy Festival, Ruben Paul has toured extensively all over the country with comedic peers such as Jamie Foxx, George Lopez and Cedric the Entertainer. Ruben’s universal style is quickly establishing him as a fan favorite at clubs and colleges across the country. In addition to his regular tours, Ruben has opened for singers such as Teddy Pendergrass, Barry White and most recently Nelly and the St. Lunatics college tour.
In addition to being a talented stand-up comic, Ruben is also an accomplished actor. He starred in the critically acclaimed play Streamers, which was nominated for a best ensemble cast award by_ Dramalogue._ He also co-starred with Kiefer Sutherland in the movie “Ground Control” and has had appearances on hit TV shows such as “The Jamie Foxx Show” as well as a recurring role on “Pensacola Wings of Gold” starring James Brolin. He can be seen in the Focus Features film “Deliver Us from Eva” starring LL Cool J, as well as Comedy Central’s “Comic Groove” hosted by “SNL” alum Tracy Morgan.
