Widely considered one of Shakespeare's greatest, The Tempest is a lyrical play that tells the story of Prospero, an exiled duke who lives as the master of an enchanted isle where fantastical creatures, mystery, music and romance abound. A shipwreck delivers Prospero's enemies to the island, and the plot thickens when his beloved daughter falls for the enemy's son. Gender politics takes center stage in this production as Deborah Strang embodies Prospero in a commanding performance. Fiery and furious (and featuring Gatsby-esque costumes), this is a Tempest that shows just how seductive revolution can be. Learn More

Young Eben Cabot’s keen and greedy eye is on the farm. His father’s voluptuous new bride Abby has her craven eye on Eben. As they square off to battle for the coveted plot of land, irresistible sexual tension mingles with hate to explosive effect. America’s premiere playwright Eugene O’Neill spins a masterful salute to the combustible essence of great Greek drama.
The cast includes William Dennis Hunt (Ephraim Cabot), Jason Dechert (Eben), Monette Magrath (Abbie Putnam), Stephen Rockwell (Peter), Christopher Fairbanks (Simeon).
